2007 Holidays

Birthdays and other holiday pictures from 2007. :)

My Birthday - June 12th

When I woke up, Shasta had bought me gorgeous flowers and made breakfast! Breakfast was SO YUMMY. And she took me out to dinner that night, too. She had the waiter surprise me with carrot cake (my favorite) on a yellow plate. A bunch of friends came over for my birthday party!
Birthday toast. Blowing out the candle. Shasta got two cakes for me! Shasta decorated my apartment all day while I was at work. ♥ She also made me wear a pink crown all night. :P
Halloween
Our Halloween dinner, and the first jack-o'-lantern I've had since I was a kid! I found costumes at the thrift store. Shasta was a circus ringleader... ...and I was a tightrope walker. I didn't have the time/money to make costumes, but we got these for about $15. We went to a Halloween party at Shasta's brother's house.

Shasta and her older brother, Marvin. Me and Marvin. Marvin was dressed as Dorothy... he made his own costume!
Shasta's Birthday - November 12th
I special-ordered a caramel ice cream cake. :) We went to the Melting Pot for dinner. They put roses and a balloon on the table for us! The food was soooooo good! And afterward the waiter kindly took a couple of pictures for us. :)
Thanksgiving
Shasta's family is so big we had to hold Thanksgiving at their local church! The kitchen was huge. There were so many people we had to serve dinner buffet-style, with everyone lining up to fill their plates. :P
We hung out in the meeting room for a while. The kids watched Shrek III while we talked. Shasta got to meet the newest addition to her family, her baby nephew! OMG he was SOO cute. :) :)
Shasta, her twin brother Shannon, and Shannon's daughter. Red hair runs in the family. Most of the siblings in one place - Melvin, Jeremy, Anthony, Shannon, Shasta and Jacob. Just missing Marvin and Alan. Shasta's dad and mom, Anthony, her birth mom Pat, Shannon, and the two of us. :)
Shasta's dad, Anthony, Pat, Shannon, Shasta, and me!
Shannon, Shasta, and Anthony share Pat as their birth mom.
Christmas
The Christmas card we sent out this year. Took a small miracle to get all the babies to sit still for that long!! We spent Christmas with my family at our apartment. It's a terrible quality picture, but it's the only one I've got.
