Butterfly Pavilion
January 2007

My friends Mike and Jeri and I visited the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster, CO, which is just down the street from where I live. I've been wanting to check this place out ever since I first moved to the area, and I'd love to go back many more times! The Butterfly Pavilion is something of a museum as well as a nature center and enormous greenhouse, and besides the huge butterfly atrium they also have insect displays and aquatic displays. Not to mention a fabulous gift shop. *grin*

I held Rosie, the resident tarantula. I'm not a huge fan of spiders, but I was surprised at how light and delicate she was.

Jeri held Rosie too!
