Aquarium
February 2007

Mike and Jeri and I took another of our field trips, this time to the Downtown Aquarium in Denver.

The Aquarium
The Aquarium from the outside
You can pan for gold -- because Colorado is obsessed with historical mines. :P Even in an aquarium, apparently...
An ancient diving suit and cage on display.
A shot of the gift shop.
Some of the cute plushies for sale in the gift shop.
Gorgeous setup in one of the hallways.
A big fake gorilla display... it looks incredibly real up close!
The Aquarium is funded by the income from its restaurant... a really good seafood restaurant. It's expensive but definitely worth it.
Mike outside on the shark bench.
Jeri hiding from the shark. >D
I gave the shark some luv.
Me 'n the shark are buddies. :P
Umm... Mike? You okay over there?

More Anemone, and starfish.
Giant crab.
HUGE turtle.
Tiny jellyfish.
Big glowy jellyfish
This one just liked to show off.
See?
They have a tiger at the aquarium.
Not sure what he has to do with sea life, but he's beautiful.
It was very difficult to take these pictures, he was hiding wayyyy up high.
But before we left he came down and pranced around a little for us. :)

Divers can practice in the aquarium tanks.
This looks like SO MUCH FUN. I'd love to try it someday.
